Monarch Woodworx is a female owned furniture company based in the Western Cape in South Africa. Pieces are designed at the Monarch workshop in George and shipped throughout the country and worldwide.
Started in 2021, Monarch Woodworx produces its own line of furniture as well as custom commissions for individuals and designers for residential and commercial projects.
Suzi McAfee is the lead designer/maker at Monarch. It is the long term goal of Monarch Woodworx to inspire and uplift others in the field of woodwork and furniture making and to create jobs in the local George community.
